Chris McKenzie is a Maleny based artist with a creative repertoire spanning drawing, painting and sculpture, matched with an aesthetic skill-set ranging across realism, abstraction and conceptual stylisation.

His latest focus is large scale sculptural works in wood, stone and metal. He works predominantly by commission, travelling Australia from project to project, exceeding patron’ brief and expectation.

As an artist his exuberant drive springs from his joy to create. His exemplar is nature and her natural elements and materials. A lover of light, colour, shape, space and texture and the wise selection and arrangement of these in sculptural & pictorial form, preoccupy his passion to perpetually make art.
